Monroe, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Monroe is pleased to welcome internal medicine specialist Dr. Marc Champaloux to its team of hospitalists. Dr. Champaloux brings a breadth of expertise in internal, hospital and general medicine pathology and experience working with patients across a broad spectrum of comprehensive care.
As a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist, Dr. Champaloux cares for adult patients during hospitalization, partnering with them to create treatment and care plans, prepare for hospital stays and discharge, and make health care decisions to support their overall health goals.
“We are honored to have Dr. Champaloux join our specially trained and highly capable group of internists and hospitalists,” said Renée Jensen, chief administrative officer of EvergreenHealth Monroe. “With his experience in general internal medicine, and interests in palliative care, quality improvement and patient experience, he is an ideal addition to our team as they collaborate in delivering exceptional care and service to our patients across Sky Valley.”
Dr. Champaloux pursued medicine because of his passion for science and desire to improve the lives of others. He chose to specialize in internal medicine because he enjoys caring for patients with a wide variety of conditions and working with them to provide tailored solutions for their needs.
Before moving to Washington, Dr. Champaloux practiced at Augusta Health Group in Virginia after earning his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He and his wife, who is also a physician, were drawn to the Pacific Northwest for its diverse culture and recreational opportunities. In their spare time they enjoy hiking with their toy poodle, Tesla.
