Dr. Mark Vossler has completed fellowships in both general cardiology and heart failure transplantation. He served on the faculty of Oregon Health and Science University as an attending physician on the heart failure and transplant service focusing on the care of patients with chronic heart failure and cardiomyopathy. While at OHSU he also conducted basic cardiovascular research and participated in clinical trials of new therapies for heart failure. He joined Eastside Cardiology (now EvergreenHealth Heart Care) and the medical staff of EvergreenHealth in 2002. Dr. Vossler is passionate about helping patients with chronic heart failure and heart valve disease live fuller, more enjoyable and more productive lives. He led the re-organization of EvergreenHealth's approach to treating congestive heart failure, and served as medical director of EvergreenHealth's nationally recognized heart failure clinic from 2002 until 2012. He currently serves as a King County delegate to the Washington State Medical Association.
Philosophy
I firmly believe that cardiovascular disease must be treated proactively with a multi-pronged approach including diet, exercise, medications and procedural intervention at every stage of the disease from early risk factors to acute coronary syndromes to end stage heart failure. It is my goal for my patients to live full and productive lives despite the presence of heart disease.

He lives with his wife, Susan, and their three teenage daughters, Lydia, Ellen and Claire, in Kirkland. The Vosslers enjoy hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking and Nordic skiing.
