Employees may choose between health insurance plans offered – 3 managed care options or 3 PPO options – and select the coverage that’s right for them. Each plan includes vision and prescription coverage. EvergreenHealth Monroe pays 100% of the employee’s portion of the medical insurance premium. Insurance coverage for dependents can be purchased through pre-tax medical premium payroll deductions.
EvergreenHealth Monroe provides a choice between dental insurance plans offered, either managed care or PPO. Each plan provides orthodontic coverage. There is no charge to employees for dental coverage for themselves or dependents.
EvergreenHealth Monroe’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides short-term support designed to assist employees in handling personal and work related issues. Free confidential counseling support is provided in areas such as anxiety and depression, child development, divorce, emotional concerns, relationships, terminal illness and work-related problems.
A part of each medical insurance plan includes our wellness program. This includes healthy lifestyle tips and online resources available to all EvergreenHealth Monroe employees.
EvergreenHealth Monroe provides employer-paid basic life insurance coverage which includes a cash benefit to the employee’s beneficiary in case of death. Employees have the option to increase coverage on their policy or to purchase coverage for their dependents.
EvergreenHealth Monroe offers both short-term disability and long-term disability (LTD) insurance plans to provide supplemental income if an employee is unable to work. Premiums are employer-paid for LTD insurance. Employees have the option to increase LTD coverage and/or to purchase short-term disability insurance.
EvergreenHealth Monroe offers both a 457 Tax Deferred Compensation plan and a 401(a) Pension Plan retirement plan options to help employees save for their future. Employer will provide a matching contribution to an employee’s 401(a) plan at $2 for every $1 contributed (up to plan maximums).
Employees can set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified dependent care and/or health care expenses through a Flexible Spending Account arrangement. Pledge amounts are made by employees on an annual basis.
Employees are able to take paid time off for vacations, holidays and illness/disability through the Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick and Extended Illness Benefit (EIB) benefits. The amount of time off an employee accrues is based on job classification and work status.
