Our utmost priority is to support all of our patients with resources to ensure those impacted by the upcoming Medicare Advantage transition, effective January 1, 2019, can continue to receive in-network care at our facilities and from the providers you know and trust.

  • Starting October 1, EvergreenHealth Monroe will be hosting MedicareCompareUSA appointments with agents to help you determine what plan best meets your needs. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call 1.866.262.4617 to schedule an appointment.


What Medicare Advantage plans will be accepted at EvergreenHealth Monroe in 2019?

Starting January 1, 2019, EvergreenHealth Monroe will partner with the following Medicare Advantage plans

  • Aetna
  • Humana
  • Premera
  • UnitedHealthcare

What plans are not being renewed for 2019?

EvergreenHealth Monroe is not renewing contracts with the following Medicare Advantage plans in 2019:

  • Amerigroup
  • Asuris
  • Community Health Plan of Washington
  • Molina
  • Providence
  • Regence Blue Shield
  • Soundpath Health

How will my coverage change in 2019 because of this, and can I change plans to continue my care with my EvergreenHealth Monroe provider?

We work to partner with insurance plans that support our goal of providing the highest quality and best value of care to our patients, and sometimes this means there are changes to the plans contracted with EvergreenHealth Monroe.

Medicare Advantage agents are available the EvergreenHealth Monroe-dedicated Medicare Insurance Helpline to answer all of your questions and provide unbiased, free insurance counsel. Please call 1.866.262.4617, Mon-Fri 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  for free personalized assistance in selecting the plan that is right for you.

You may also schedule a one-on-one appointment with a MedicareCompareUSA agent. Starting October 1, we will be hosting free one-on-one appointments at the EvergreenHealth Kirkland and EvergreenHealth Monroe campuses to help answer all of your questions. Patients actively undergoing treatment and those with appointments or surgeries scheduled on, or after January 1, 2019  need to call a MedicareCompareUSA agent at 1.866.262.4617 to learn how their plan is impacted, and choose a new plan should you choose to retain your care planned at EvergreenHealth Monroe for 2019.
