Stop the Bleed Class

When disaster, accidents or multiple casualty incidents happen, emergency services are often spread thin.

Emergency responders arrive as quickly as possible, but bystanders are generally on scene before they arrive.

When a person is seriously injured, they can die from blood loss within three minutes.

Bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death in multiple casualty events such as mass shootings, earthquakes and terrorist attacks.

It can also be a major factor in car and motorcycle accidents, as well as falls.

Will you be ready?

Stop the Bleed is a nationwide campaign to empower bystanders to act quickly and save lives.

The class will provide you with the skills and knowledge to provide immediate bleeding control to victims at the scene of an accident or event.
